Terms & Conditions
1.Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and InfoFusion LLC ("InfoFusion", "we", "us") governing your use of our website and online tutoring services. By requesting trial lessons, enrolling in a plan, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2.Eligibility and accounts
- Accounts must be created and held by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, who is responsible for all account activity and payments.
- Students in grades 9–12 participate in lessons with the account holder's authorization.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your contact details up to date.
3.The services
InfoFusion provides live, one-on-one online tutoring in mathematics, science, computer science, and SAT/ACT test preparation for students in grades 9–12, delivered through Microsoft Teams audio calls with screen sharing and collaborative teaching tools. Our services are supplemental education: we are not a school, we do not award grades or credentials, and while we work hard to help every student improve, we do not guarantee specific grades, scores, or outcomes.
4.Free trial lessons
- New students may take up to three free 30-minute trial lessons in one subject.
- No payment details are required for trials, and trials do not auto-enroll you in a paid plan.
- Paid lessons begin only when you expressly choose a plan.
5.Scheduling, attendance, and rescheduling
- Lessons take place at recurring weekly times agreed with your instructor, on weekday or weekend schedules depending on your plan.
- Lessons may be rescheduled free of charge with prior notice; we recommend at least 24 hours.
- A lesson missed without prior notice is treated as a committed session and is not made up or credited.
- Lessons cancelled by InfoFusion or the instructor are rescheduled at no cost and are never billed unless delivered.
6.Fees, invoicing, and payment
- Plan prices are published on our Pricing page in US Dollars (USD). Each plan is a fixed monthly subscription covering all lessons on the student's regular weekly schedule during the calendar month; lesson counts vary with the calendar, but the plan price does not.
- Each plan covers one subject per student. Additional subjects are enrolled as separate plans, each taught by its own specialist instructor; the 2nd and 3rd subject enrollments for the same student receive 10% off their monthly price.
- Services are billed monthly in arrears: an invoice at the plan rate, with an itemized session log, is issued at the end of each month. Partial months (mid-month enrollment or cancellation) are prorated based on scheduled lessons.
- Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date via the secure payment link and methods specified on the invoice, which is delivered by email (or WhatsApp on request). A receipt is provided upon confirmation of payment.
- The 10% family & multi-subject discount applies to the lower-priced enrollment when two students from the same household are enrolled concurrently, and to a student’s 2nd and 3rd subject enrollments. Discounts are applied automatically to the monthly invoice while the eligible enrollments remain active.
- Timely payment ensures uninterrupted service. If an invoice remains unpaid after reasonable reminders, we may pause lessons until the balance is settled.
- Invoice questions should be raised promptly upon receipt; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for corrections, adjustments, and refunds.
7.Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by email or phone. To avoid charges for upcoming lessons, cancellation requests must be received at least 24 hours before the start time of the next scheduled lesson; lessons within that notice window are committed sessions and may be billed, since the instructor has reserved the time. There are no cancellation fees and no long-term contracts. After cancellation, no future lessons are scheduled and no future billing occurs; your final invoice is prorated to cover only delivered lessons and committed sessions, per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8.Your responsibilities and acceptable conduct
- Provide the equipment and internet connection needed to attend lessons (computer or tablet, stable connection, microphone).
- Treat instructors with respect; abusive, harassing, or inappropriate behavior may result in suspension or termination of services.
- Do not record lessons without the prior consent of InfoFusion and the instructor.
- Do not publish or distribute lesson materials online; they are provided for the enrolled student's personal educational use.
- Do not solicit or engage InfoFusion instructors for private tutoring outside the platform while using our services and for six months thereafter.
9.Academic integrity
Our tutoring exists to help students learn. Instructors explain, guide, and practice with students — they do not complete graded assignments, essays, take-home tests, or examinations on a student's behalf, and services may not be used to violate a school's academic integrity policies.
10.Intellectual property
Lesson materials, worksheets, and website content provided by InfoFusion are for the enrolled student's personal educational use and may not be redistributed, resold, or published online. The InfoFusion name and logo are our property.
11.Third-party services
Live lessons are delivered through Microsoft Teams audio calls, which provide screen sharing, file sharing, and related collaboration features. Invoice payments are completed with our third-party payment provider on its own secure payment pages — InfoFusion never receives or stores your full card details. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
12.Disclaimers
The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of online tools, though we will reschedule any lesson materially affected by a failure on our side.
13.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InfoFusion's total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14.Termination
You may stop using the services at any time (Section 7). We may suspend or terminate services for material breach of these Terms, including non-payment or misconduct, after reasonable notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations for delivered classes, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.
15.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us — most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers; continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
