Privacy Policy
1.Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how InfoFusion LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("InfoFusion", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our website or use our online tutoring services. For privacy questions, contact info@infofusion.io or write to InfoFusion LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
2.Accounts are held by parents and guardians
Our services support students in grades 9–12, but our customers are their parents and legal guardians. Accounts may only be created and managed by an adult (18+), who provides all information, agrees to our Terms, and receives all invoices. Students participate in lessons with their parent's or guardian's consent.
3.Information we collect
- Provided by the parent/guardian: your name, email address, and phone number; your student's first name, grade level, current course, subjects, time zone, and scheduling preferences; and the content of your communications with us.
- Lesson-participation information: during live lessons, students communicate directly with their instructor and may share questions, school assignments and work, learning difficulties, chat messages, and voice audio as a natural part of being taught. We also generate lesson schedules, attendance records, instructor progress notes, and invoicing records.
- Payment information: invoice payments are completed with our third-party payment provider on its own secure payment pages. We receive payment confirmations and transaction records, but we never collect or store your full card details.
- Collected automatically on the website: standard technical data such as browser type, device information, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address, via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
4.Children's privacy
Account registration information is collected from the parent or guardian, and we deliberately keep required student details minimal (first name, grade, current course, and subjects). During live lessons, students necessarily share information directly with their instructor as part of being taught; this lesson-participation information is used only to deliver and improve the student's tutoring, is never used for advertising, and is protected as described in this policy. Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
5.How we use information
- To schedule and deliver tutoring lessons and match students with suitable instructors;
- To communicate with you about lessons, progress, scheduling, and support requests;
- To issue invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate account records;
- To improve our services and website;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
6.How we share information
- Instructors: receive only the student information needed to teach effectively (first name, grade, current course, subjects, goals, and schedule).
- Service providers: trusted partners, including Microsoft Teams, which enables live audio calls, screen sharing, file sharing, attendance tracking, and other communication and collaboration features necessary to deliver our services. These providers may access information only as needed to provide services on our behalf.
- Payment providers: when we issue an invoice, it includes a secure payment link from a third-party payment provider. Any information you submit to complete a payment, including card details, is collected and processed directly by that provider under its own privacy policy. InfoFusion does not receive or store full payment card details.
- Legal requirements: where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, staff, or others.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7.Data retention & security
We retain personal information only as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
8.Cookies
Our website may use cookies to improve functionality, analyze website usage, and enhance the user experience. You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
9.Your privacy rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@infofusion.io. A parent or legal guardian may also submit a request concerning their student's personal information. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and, where applicable, your authority to make a request on behalf of a student, before processing your request.
Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights, including the rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information and will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above is revised accordingly. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
